First it was Conservative Daniel Hannan shredding then-Prime Minister Gordon Brown in the European Parliament. Now we’re treated to Nigel Farage, Member of the European Parliament from the UK Independence Party, ripping the EU leadership a new one for their statist, anti-democratic arrogance in the Irish financial crisis. Sit back, my friends, and enjoy:

Let me point out something about Hannan. He is a Conservative MEP. Therefore, attacking a Labour Prime Minister is not precisely particularly courageous or important. Conservative politician attacks Labour PM is dog bites man news. Farage is doing what he is supposed to be doing: attacking the European Union. But then, he is the leader of the UK Independence Party not a Conservative politicians.
No doubt, but that doesn’t make their speeches any less enjoyable.
Oh well, plenty of enjoyable speeches around. Not all of them are of any importance, though.
