I also remember the global cooling (“New Ice Age”) speculation of the 1970s when, as an adolescent, I was subscribed to Science News, Scientific American, Time, and US News and World Report by my intelligent and far-sighted parents.
With a longer memory than 99% of the radical Left, it is easy to put the AGW hysteria in perspective.
