Our worst ex-president, one in a series

The Nobel Anti-Bush Peace Prize winner should have his passport revoked, just for being a senile, old embarrassment.

Lawhawk has the latest details: Mouth of the South opens mouth, inserts foot again.

  1. MadAlfred says:

Too bad we can’t try ex-Presidents for being arrogantly stupid. Carter would be on the top of any such list.

  2. Lance Thompson says:

All this stuff about Carter has affected me personally. I’m beginning to develop a peanut allergy.

  3. John H. (Shikoku) says:

I still feel we elected the wrong Carter. I mean, think of how effective using Billy Beer would’ve been during negotiations. From what my Dad tells me it would’ve been like a legalized form of torture.

  4. Matt Goodman says:

    Take a look at this:
It actually gives the in-context quote:

“The U.S. has more than 12,000 nuclear weapons, the Soviet Union (Russia) has about the same, Great Britain and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more. We have a phalanx of enormous weaponry … not only of enormous weaponry but of rockets to deliver those missiles on a pinpoint accuracy target,” he said, according to a transcript of his remarks.

and ends their story with this interesting tid-bit:

Reports on Carter’s speech from the BBC, The Guardian and The Western Mail did not mention his estimate of Israel’s nuclear stockpile.
