We are ruled by such idiots. And it’s our fault for electing them.

Watts Up With That?

If the looming spectre of rising electricity prices due to CARB’s upcoming “cap and trade” isn’t enough, now the Department of Water resources has opted to be less efficient by giving low cost electricity the boot. Somebody else will buy it, so there’s no net savings other than banking “feel good” capital.

    Sadly – true.

    I keep thinking about a recent quote I saw – possibly from George Will – pertaining to voter rights;

    “If mild registration burdens are sufficient to defeat a person’s inclination to vote, those burdens probably are filtering out the unmotivated, who are apt to be the uninformed.”

    Not exactly on topic – but we definitely have an “educated” voter problem. Especially when we have so many people on the government’s dole……
